Michelle joined BDO having spent the majority of her career working for a local regulatory body. In 2015, Michelle qualified as a Data Protection Practitioner.
She is well versed in records management best practice having played an integral part in the design, implementation, maintenance, and technical administration of an internal Electronic, Document and Records Management solution.
Michelle has experience assisting Change Managers on both small- and large-scale projects from both technical and operational perspectives. This has ranged from providing advice and guidance to the full design, implementation and training provision for internal data processes and systems.
Her additional skills and knowledge lie in Corporate Governance. Michelle has completed her Chartered Secretarial Qualifications and is an Associate of the Corporate Governance Institute (formerly ICSA).
This breadth of understanding has provided unique opportunities to work closely with senior level professionals as the subject matter expert on a broad range of topics due to her ability to translate legislative and regulatory requirements into operational practice.
Michelle also holds a Level 3 Coaching qualification through the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). She has experience in designing and delivering training packages on a variety of topics to diverse audiences, from entry level employees to C-Suite Executives and has produced internal and external communications for publication which includes being involved in the maintenance, upgrade, and implementation of communications platforms.
